Who can apply for Clear? Americans and travelers from these countries
A program, which allows Americans to save time in airport security lines, opens to foreign travelers from four countries.
Clear, one NYSE LISTED On Friday, the identity company announced that travelers from England, Canada, Australia and New Zealand could resort to open+ memberships.
The company said more countries will be announced later this year.
The identities of Clear+ members are confirmed in separate strips at 59 US airport. Verifations are made using eye, finger or facial biometry instead of manual analysis.
Candy Buchanan, a open member of California, said that the strips were shorter and that their identity was verified in “seconds”.
Travelers can record themselves onlineOr personally at an airport that uses the program.
Individual memberships are $ 209 per year. Family members under the age of 18 may accompany adult members in open+ strips.

Buchanan uses its membership with another US program, Tsa precheckAuthorized, collectively allowed to clean up airport safety in a few minutes, he said.
TSA Precheck cuts the safety line times by allowing passengers to wear shoes, belts and jackets and holds fluids and electronics in the transport luggage during the security control process.
