‘Ukraine War Wouldn’t Have Happened In 2022 If…’: What Putin Said After Meeting Trump | World News

New Delhi: Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday (local time) former US President Donald Trump in 2022, if the Russian-Ukraine conflict would not take place, Trump had made a claim that he had made it over and over again, and that Joe Biden gave the crime of the war to break the war.
Speaking at a joint press conference with Trump for about three hours of discussions, Putin warned that the increasing tensions between the two countries in 2022 should not be allowed to go beyond the irreversible point.
“Today, if the president Trump was the president at that time, there would be no war, and I’m sure it would really be like that,” he said.
“During the last contact with the previous administration in 2022, I tried to convince my previous American colleague that the situation should not be brought to an irreversible point when it comes to hostility. Then I said that this was a big mistake.”
Putin described the negotiations on Friday as productive and said they took place in a constructive atmosphere.
“Our negotiations were made in a constructive atmosphere of mutual respect. We had very narrow negotiations that were very useful.
Although the authority has been separated according to the international history line, Russia and the United States are geographically close and made the meeting feel like a neighbor visit.
“So when we meet, when I get out of the plane, ‘Good day, dear neighbor! It is very good to see you healthy. I think this is very neighbors.
Putin also emphasized the historical importance of Alaska as a common ground for the US and Russia, and recorded its role during the World War II as a bridge to move from the USA to the USSR.
“It is also important that Alaska has a common heritage between Russia and the United States and our common history, and many positive events have a relationship with this region. Nevertheless, there is an enormous cultural heritage from Russia and America. For example, Orthodox churches and more than 700 geographical names of Russian origin.”
“During the Second World War, in Alaska, the origin of the legendary air bridge for the supply of military aircraft and other equipment under the Land Rent Program. This was a dangerous and treacherous route. However, along the wide void of the ice, the pilots of both countries did everything to approach victory.
Putin explained how the soldiers from both countries fought with common enemies with a spirit of friendship.
“I was just in the city of Magadan and there was a monument dedicated to Russian and US pilots. There are two flags there- I know the US flag and the Russian flag. I know that there is a monument here. A few kilometers away from here, something that dies in the West, so many pilots, the government is thankful to each other. I think you will remember.
Putin also admitted that the US-Russia relations fell to a record level, but he stressed that he and Trump were talking sincerely by phone.
“In this new stage, even in the most difficult conditions, there is no intelligence between Russia and the United States in four years. This is a long time. This time was very difficult for bilateral relations and they have fallen to the lowest point since the Cold War. I think this will not benefit from this situation.
Putin also said that Trump’s special ambassador Steve Witkoff went to Russia several times for talks.
“And President Trump’s special ambassador Mr. Witkoff went to Russia several times. Our consultants and the presidents of the external ministries have always been in communication. We knew that one of the central problems was the situation in Ukraine.” He said.
The reaction to the summit between Putin and Trump in Russia was positive. CNN was ecstatic when the Russian leader applauded the US President, because Alaska was fully released for Putin in Alaska’s common Elmendorf-Richardson.
