CM Revanth Directs Officials to Remain Vigilant Amid Heavy Rains

Haydarabad: Prime Minister A. Revanth Redy directed all departments to remain highly vigilant due to heavy rains in TaLangana. According to the Meteorology Department, 15 districts except Jagtial received heavy rainfall, the rest of the regions saw normal rainfall.
Speaking with senior officials on Saturday morning, CM said that the middle and heavy rains are probably in Nizamabad, Sanggarereddy, Medak, Vikarabad, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Khammam. SDRF and NDRF teams have already been deployed to coordinate aid operations with regional collectors.
CM, the authorities overflowing rivers and channel risk to remain vigilant and people from low areas to help to shift to aid camps instructed. Irrigation Department officials were told to watch the water levels in reservoirs, ponds and rivets. Police and revenue officials ordered a full prohibition in traffic on low -level bridges and lower roads to establish barricades.
Revanth Redy also asked the sanitation personnel in cities, towns and villages to maintain mosquito growth and continuous sanitation drivers to prevent water -based diseases. The health department was asked to stock up adequate drugs and to establish medical camps when necessary.
Calm, income, electricity, Panchayat Raj, roads and buildings, health, municipal management, police, fire services and SDRF, which called for measures to prevent loss of property and animals, emphasized that all departments should work in close coordination. He also directed GHMC, Hydra, SDRF and firefighters to respond immediately to public demands in Haydarabad.
