August 16 – Robert J. “Bob” Lowe Bob Lowe died in Southern California on June 4, 2025 and left the heritage of love, service and surgical excellence as a general, vascular and transport surgeon, husband, father, colleague and friends. Born in Northern Wisconsin, Bob thought about the house of Wisconsin and New Mexico, who has been living in Albuquerque for more than 50 years. He won Biochemistry (1970) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a MD (1974) and met his wife Elena Spielman at the “Kirk” cooperative adjacent to the campus.
