Son of Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit facing 10 years in prison
Oslo, Norway: The Norwegian prosecutors accused Norway’s eldest son in more than one accusation, including rape after a long investigation.
Oslo State Lawyer Sturla Henriksbø Monday (Tuesday Aest) announced this Marius Borg Høiby The publisher NRK may be sentenced to imprisonment of up to 10 years if convicted.

The indictment opened at the Oslo Regional Court includes rape among them, abuse in a close relationship against an old partner, and violence against the other. Other accusations include death threats and traffic violations.
Crown Prince Haakon, the step-son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s 28-year-old son Høiby, has no royal title or official tasks of Crown Prince Haakon. Norway’s stepfather and future queen Princess Ingrid Alexandra is currently studying at the University of Sydney.
Høiby has been under investigation since he was repeatedly arrested on various allegations of injustice last year. The free hearing and Henriksbø said there is no reason to arrest and imprison him right now.

Henriksbø estimates that the hearing may begin in mid -January and may last for about six weeks.
Defense lawyer Petar Sekulic said in a response sent to the indictment by e -mail to the indictment that our client rejected sexual abuse charges and the majority of charges of violence ”.
Sekulic, Høiby’nin “the court in front of the court will offer a detailed explanation,” he added.
