Man arrested for drink driving as car crashes into house as family slept inside | UK | News

A car -22-year-old man was driven from the living room of the family house while he was asleep on the upper floor. Emergency Services on the Flamsteed Road in Strelley, Nottinghamshire, Emergency Services were called at 01:00 on Sunday.
A dramatic image indicates how the vehicle was completely buried in the house, but fortunately no one was injured. Police reported that the driver had lost control at a rotating intersection before wearing a pavement and colliding with the property. The driver then left the car and the officers fled the scene before they found a suspect.
A breath of the road failed in the receiving test and was detained on suspicion of dangerous driving, beverage driving, criminal damage and aggravated vehicles.
He was also arrested on suspicion of driving without a valid license and on suspicion of driving without correct insurance.
