Ukrainian attack cuts power in Russia-controlled Zaporizhzhia

(Reuters) -A Ukrainian drone attack on Tuesday, Tuesday, said that the Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine gave power to the regions under Russian control.

The Russian forces have more than half of the Zaporizhzhia region in southeast of Ukraine. However, Kyiv maintained the control of the main administrative center of the region and the attacks periodically overturned electricity in the popular regions of the Russians.

In 2022, Russia, about seven months after invading his smaller neighbor, added the neighboring Kherson region to Zaporizhzhia with Donetsk and Luhansk in the east of Ukraine.

Governor Yevgeny Balitsky, appointed by Moscow, wrote in the Telegram messaging application, “The reason for the power cuts in the Zaporizhzhia region is another enemy terrorist drone attack against high -voltage equipment.”

Balitsky, repair teams have regained the power and the affected areas changed to reserve lines, he said. He said it was hard to “repeat and danger from the darkness.”

The Ukrainian bombardment and drone attacks have overthrew power in June for more than 24 hours in June to at least 700,000 inhabitants in the region. This attack seemed to be the largest of its kind on Russian territory since the war began.

Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which was held by Russia’s six largest reactors in Russia, Yashina, Russia’s Communication Director Yevgenia Yashina, was normally working by Russia, the facility’s communication director Yevgenia Yashina.

The facility does not produce electricity, but it needs power for cooling and monitoring systems to maintain security. Ukraine and Russia accuse the factory, which was seized by the Russian forces in the first weeks of February 2022, of regular attacks.

In some of the Kherson region under the control of Ukraine, Governor Vyacheslav Prokudin said that a telegram pole killed a small town in a telegraph pole of a small town in the north of the regional capital.

And the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine, Serhiy Lysak in the north, said that the Russian bombardment of the Russian bombardment in Telegram on the northern coast of the Dnipro River, Nikopol, said that a resident killed a resident.
