A leading international law expert, Switzerland and Hungary’s Vladimir Putin Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky in Geneva at a proposed peace summit will violate their international legal obligations if they contained. Vishchyk added that the inability of Switzerland or Hungary to detain Putin will be a violation of international law.
In March 2023, the ICC issued an arrest order for Putin and accused him of personal responsibility for the transfer of Ukrainian children from occupied regions to Russia. The Kremlin rejected the court’s jurisdiction and rejected the accusations meaninglessly.
Trump said on Monday that he launched arrangements for a face -to -face meeting between Putin and Mr. Zelensky, but he did not publicly approve of such a possibility of Kremlin and no place was proposed.
