Ice cream seller, 41, who was stabbed to death is pictured for the first time: Woman and man arrested after ‘murder’

A man who was stabbed in the middle of the street was called ice cream seller Shazad Khan by police.

The Metropolitan Police was called on stabbing reports at Monks Park in Wembley at 18:10 on Tuesday.

Speaking at the scene, Mr. Butt: ‘I got a phone call from one of my cousins. This man, we know him – he’s a famous ice cream man. It was stabbed yesterday.

“ I came here and his body was still here and the police had taken the area under the cordon.

“ I know your brothers, they are all local. We all played cricket and football in Monks Park. It started [selling] About a year ago ice cream. ‘

Mr. Butt said the victim was married and had a young daughter.

The power previously stated that the man was 38, but then confirmed that it was 41.

Detective Chief Inspector Luke Williams, the Local Police Commander of the Northwest London, said: ‘Our thoughts remain with Shazad’s family and friends in difficult times to imagine.

‘This event will rightly cause concern throughout the community, but intelligence at this stage causes us to believe that there is no wider threat to the public.

‘Detectives are conducting a comprehensive and rapid investigation and the locals may expect to see an increase in the presence of police in the region.

‘Everyone who has any information – especially from the event period Dashcam or door bell images – is called to talk to us as a matter of urgency.’
