Jaishankar Holds Talks With Putin In Moscow Amid Ongoing US Criticism Over Russian Oil Purchases | India News
Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Thursday and held an important meeting in the Diplomatic dialogue of India-Russia.
Russian President, the first Deputy Prime Minister of the debate Denis Manturov (also president of the Russian side of the Inter -Government Trade and Cooperation Commission) and Indian Ambassador Russia Vinay Kumar’s Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that.

In the early hours of the day, Eam Jaishankar met Lavrov with Russian counterparts, and held detailed discussions on developing binary ties as well as discussing issues related to Ukraine, Europe, Iran, West Asia, Afghanistan and Indian sub -continent.
After the meeting, Jaishankar said in an article in X, and he had a detailed discussion with Lavrov about our binary ties such as trade, investment, energy, fertilizer, health, skill and mobility, defense and human-human changes.
“Today, we were pleased to meet FM Sergei Lavrov in Moscow. Trade, investment, fertilizer, health, skills and mobility, defense and shopping to people. Our meeting has helped to prepare the results and decisions of the annual summit later this year,” Eam Jaishankar X.
The two leaders said the need to strengthen the multi -polar architecture of bilateral relations and to intensify their efforts to defend their political sovereignty to global southern countries.
“The exchange of views on the further intensification of political contacts at various levels, the deepening of trade and economic cooperation. Special attention was paid to the construction of sustainable transportation and logistics chains and financial interaction channels.
India and Russia see each other as privileged strategic partners
In the opening speeches during the meeting, Lavrov welcomed Eam Jaishankar for the next negotiations and said that India and Russia saw each other as privileged strategic partners.

Eam Jaishankar expressed his confidence that his debates with Lavrov would be “productive, productive” and contributed to the annual summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin as “as a result -oriented” as possible.
