Five people hurt in suspected arson attack at Ilford restaurant

GoogleAfter a suspicious arson attack at a restaurant in East London, three people were hospitalized in a life -threatening situation.
Police, medical officials and firefighters were called to the fire on Woodford Boulevard in Gants Hill, Ilford at 21:00 on Friday.
Three women and two men were injured in the fire and taken to hospital where they stayed.
The reason for the fire is being investigated by firefighters and police. Met police said no arrests were made.
Part of the ground floor of the restaurant was damaged by flames extinguished until 22:30.
Five people who were hospitalized were rescued from the building by the fire teams, and about nine people were able to leave the building before the brigade arrived.
“We understand that this event will cause concern in the community. My expert detective team is working quickly to bring the incident together.
“The locals may expect a large police in the region. If you have any concern, please talk to the officers on the ground.”
