Moment hot air balloon lands on street in front of stunned residents | News

The hot air balloon landed in the middle of a street in Bedford in front of stunned residents on Saturday, August 23rd.

The images taken by Sian Marie King showed the balloon descending to Bower Street.

In the video, it can be seen that several spectators jumped to help.

They cover the guide rope to help to reduce the balloon to a safe point, and avoid hitting houses or parked cars.

The British balloon and zeplin club said the balloon was “descending without incident” and no one was injured.
