Lord Ram’s blessings, people’s affection keep me safe: Delhi CM Rekha Gupta

Delhi Prime Minister Rekha Gupta said that the blessings of Lord Ram on Sunday and the love of the people kept him safe days after he was attacked during a public hearing on his official residence on civil lines.

Gupta addresses people at the Foundation Upholstery ceremony for two Ramlilas in Shahalimar Bagh, “The establishment of Ram Rajya expresses the governance that focuses only on the welfare of the people.

Referring to the last attack against him, he said that the blessings of Lord Ram kept him safe and strong along with the love of people.

Stating that every character in Ramlila gives deep life lessons, Gupta said, “Lord Ram, Mata Sita, Lakshman or Mata Kaiheyi every time we see the characters such as, when we remind our own duties and responsibilities. Delhi citizens continue to be his greatest power.

The Prime Minister also said that Ramlila celebrations would be more spectacular and spiritual than ever this year.

He said that the only window system was introduced at the regional level ruled by the magistrate to give all permissions to make the organization process smoothly.

He also said that the land safety deposit for Ramlila performances was reduced from 20 RS per square meter to 15 RS per square meter.

In addition, the area reserved for entertainment facilities with Ramlila performances is fixed in 40 percent of the allocated lands.

Gupta also said that with Ramlilas’ great stages, cultural festivals such as Dandiya will be organized to make the celebrations more vivid and inclusive.

Meanwhile, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva joined the ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ of Nav Shri Dharmi Leela Committee, which will be held in Red Fort Parade Ground with Delhi Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh on Sunday.
