Sven Lindemann: Killer bodybuilder launches bid to have 31 year jail sentence reduced

A bodybuilder, who killed his wife with jealous anger, claimed that his sentence did not take into account his “otherwise perfect life”.
53 -year -old Sven Lindemann was sentenced to 31 years of imprisonment last year for the brutal murder of Monicque Lezsak on the morning of May 30, 2023.
Lindemann, a former professional bodybuilder, killed Mrs. Lezsak with a “crazy, long -term attack” after trying to end her relationships.
The couple had begun a relationship about five years ago after the online gathering on common bodybuilding interests.
Lindemann exploded in what he described as a “violent, jealous anger, after he heard Mrs. Lezsak on the phone with a second man with a romantic man.
In an attack that covers 3 minutes and using six knives, Lindemann stabbed Mrs. Lezsak 17 times with her two young children and her weak mother.
He then turned the knife on himself, then he didn’t want to be saved to the police and did not want him to blame Mrs. Lezsak.
Justice Hollingworth, who delivered the sentence, said that Ms. Lezsak’s daughter and Maggie tried to intervene when Lilly was taken into consideration.
The judge said, “Your guilt has been motivated by the reluctance of jealousy and allowing your partner to continue his life,” the judge said.
“You cheated on your own wife and finally left your wife and children with Mrs. Lezsak.
“However, your hypocrisy and your sense of authority have been angry with the idea that Mrs. Lezsak could choose to leave you and establish a relationship with someone she recently met.”

Lindemann appeared at the Appeal Court on Tuesday afternoon for the hearing of the proposal for his sentence.
Lawyer Rishi Nathwani Kc argued that Justice Hollingworth had been going to three reasons while reaching the punishment.
They could not consider Lindemann’s previous good character, the difficulty of getting away from his children and old parents, and compared to other cases.
Mr. Nathwani told the court that his client was guilty of “the earliest opportunity ve and saved the trauma of giving evidence to his victims in court.
Although the grave is an example of a murder, he argued that this sentence was a “contrary” when compared to other criminals where criminals were less punished.
“This criminal appeal had to be a proven discount on the objection, and it wasn’t just,” Nathwani said.
The lawyer said that Justice Hollingworth’s Lindemann’s problematic attitudes towards women and the problematic attitudes that were guilty to reduce the evaluation of his character, he said.
“What is said, I don’t give full weight to your good character for these two reasons,” he said.
‘As his honor did, he should never be used to reduce the weight of the character. “
Mr. Nathwani said that the murder was characterless, that he was a deviation from a perfect life otherwise ”.

He also argued that Hollingworth did not take into account the difficulty and distress he felt of not being able to support Lindemann’s children and parents.
I told the court a psychologist, ım I robbed my family of their father and sons. ”
In contrast, Diana Piekusis Kc for the crown said that Justice was sentenced to Hollingworth’s sentence.
He claimed that the judge had the right to take into account Lindemann’s problematic attitudes and that any prisoner was forced to leave the family.
The Chief Royal Prosecutor told the court that there were other issues that affect the final penalty for a series of other murder cases brought up by Mr. Nathwani.
“This is not a contradictory value, it is a sentence that reflects the seriousness of this condition,” he said.
Justice will deliver the decisions of Kristen Walker, Justice Rowena Orr and Peter Kidd at a later date.
Lindemann under his sentence will be suitable for conditional evacuation in mid -2018.
