NTR District Creates World Record With 7,730 Eco-Friendly Clay Ganesh Idols

Vijayawada: The NTR region entered the World Registration Book (London) by breaking a new global record by preparing 7,730 environmentally friendly clay ganesh idols. Regional administration, Vijayawada Municipality Company (VMC) and Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (PCB) jointly organized by the initiative, Ganesh Chaturthi festivals aimed to create environmental awareness.

Maharashtra broke the previous record with 4,464 Kil Ganesh idol.

World Registration Book Joint Secretary (South India) U. Elijah made the official announcement and NTR Regional Collector Dr. G. presented a world registration certificate and medal to Lakshmisha.

Dr. U. Elijah appreciated the collective contribution of students, associations and authorities.

On this occasion, the Minister of Health and Family Wet, Y. Satya Kumar Yadav, described success as a milestone, associated cultural traditions with environmental responsibility. He said that such initiatives help to vaccinate sensitivity to nature among young children.

Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Prime Minister K. Pawan Kalyan and Education Minister Nara Loksh thanked the Ganesha idols for giving permission and free electricity to the pandals where Ganesha idols were established. Ganesh asked the UTSAV committees to preserve the discipline and sanctity of this situation. Paris appreciated that the chemical colors that contribute to health hazards were prevented.

The Vijayawada deputy named Sivanath, Chinni, asked people to make their upcoming Ganesh festivals in Vijayawada a model for other regions. Vijayawada Central Mla Bonda Umamahaswara Rao asked for zero use of Paris plaster and artificial colors in the future production of IDOL.

Regional Collector G. Lakshmisha announced that approximately 20 schools, colleges and 20 associations are common with PCB and VMC at the event.

On this occasion, the existing collector S. ILAKKIYA, VMC commissioner Hm Dhyyanachandra, RDO K. Chaitania, PCB Manager Engineer E. Srinivasa Rao, additional commissioner Dr. DD Chandrasekhar, elected representatives, volunteer organizations, students and officials from the authorities.
