TMK Energy’s seventh well powers up Mongolian gas production

The TMK’s Gurvanes XXXV project has been 8400 square kilometers, and Mongolia’s largest 2C conditional gas source contains 1.2 trillion cubic meters and positions it as a corner stone for the country’s transition to clean energy. The project is only 50 kilometers away from China’s Shivee Kseen border, regulates logistics and increases cost effectiveness.

Rapidly commissioning LF-07 emphasizes the operational efficiency of the TMK and its strategic planning only weeks after drilling.

The company’s foresight to secure equipment such as Canadian Driller Great Drilling and benefit from partnerships facilitated its progress.

Without a major capital expenditure planned in the near term, TMK has now focused on improving the reservoir model to accurately predict gas production rates and timeline.

TMK’s rapid progress in the Gurvanes XXXV strengthens its role as a key player in Mongolia’s energy transition and a potential supplier to regional markets, including Northern China’s broad energy network.
