WFP Chief Cindy McCain Visits Gaza, Demanding Israel Allow Surge Of Food Aid

Cindy McCain, who leads the United Nations Food Program, said in a statement on Thursday that he witnessed the destruction, helplessness and hunger level he witnessed while visiting Gaza, to allow Israel to allow humanitarian aid to increase from the war to the Palestinian region.
The visit by the Executive Director of the World Food Program came from a large report of food safety experts a few days after the conclusion that Gaza City in the Northern Gaza Strip was destroyed by Israel’s region and the continuation of most humanitarian aid.
“Gaza at a breaking point. Desperation is rising – and I saw it first,” McCain He said in a statement. “We should be able to revive our wide and reliable network consisting of 200 food distribution points throughout the furnaces and ovens.
The WFP chief said that he visited Deir Al-Balah in the center of Gaza, and that he had been stopped by a nutrition clinic and that he often came together with Palestinian mothers who had frequently talked about the impossible task of acquiring food for their families.
McCain, who spoke regularly against the hunger crisis of human-making, said, ım I met children who were treated for severe malnutrition-and I saw photos when they were healthy. They are not recognized today. ”
Most of the Palestinians are trekking south with the hope of buying food from the US -backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, where Israeli soldiers and American mercenaries carried out the massacres of dying civilians. Many Palestinians there, either with GHF gunfire or defeating the curable wounds, dies because Israel’s destroying Gaza’s health infrastructure has made a significant difficulty for doctors to provide life -saving care.
After the global reaction of the armament of food – violation of international humanitarian law – Israel said that aid groups will allow temporary assistance. WFP said there was a “slight increase veren average of 100 trucks per day for the last two weeks, but the amount of the agency was not close enough to support the population of the settlement.
McCain said, half a million people in Gaza are starving, much more on the edge, ”McCain said. “Desperation is overwhelming. We can reach them. We need safe routes and continuous access. We must deliver it on the scale requested by this crisis.”

In addition to visiting Gaza, McCain visited the occupied West Bank to meet the Palestinian Province Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa. He also met Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel. Leaders from Cogat, the Military and Help Coordination AgencyDiscuss the situation of humanitarian efforts in Gaza.
Cogat continues to deny that they receive sufficient assistance despite the evidence of the Palestinians and that Netanyahu is famine in Gaza. However, he spoke about Hamas’s images of apparently -fed pledge.
McCain warned that if Israel does not allow the area to increase the right to aid immediately, Deir Al-Balah will receive a famine classification similar to Gaza next month. He also stressed that the famine of Gaza, designed by Israel, will worsen malnutrition for Palestinian civilians and Israeli hostages in the region.
“What we need is a ceasefire,” he said. “We can quickly scale humanitarian aid to reach the most vulnerable person in Gaza, support the return of all hostages and form the basis of peace and stability.”
