Trump Returns To World Stage, To Address 80th UN General Assembly On Sept 23 | World News

Washington: President Donald Trump is preparing to return to the world stage next month. On Thursday, the White House confirmed that it would give an address in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York on 23 September.

The White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, who briefed the media, announced Trump’s travel plans. “The President will go to New York on 22 September to address the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, September 23,” he said.

Trump’s planned speech will be the first time since his fifth appearance and first position in the global forum. From 2017 to 2021, the previous addresses were generally the title producer.
