BREAKING: PM Modi Arrives In Tokyo To Attend 15th India-Japan Annual Summit | India News

Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to Tokyo of Japan on Friday. This is his eighth visit to his country. This will include China for the SCO summit this week.

PM Modi is scheduled to participate in the 15th Indian-Japanese annual summit with Japanese counterpart Ishiba. Both leaders came together on the sides of the G7 Summit in Canada, Canada in June 2025.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Prime Minister Modi said that his visits to Japan and China would carry the country’s national interests and priorities further.

During a two -day stay, Ishiba will meet with Prime Minister Modi and will also hold a working dinner. The two leaders are scheduled to visit the Miyagi province.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA), during the visit, the two leaders will discuss regional and global importance as well as human changes to defense and security, trade and economy, technology and innovation and human changes.

During the summit, both prime ministers are expected to evaluate the progress in recent years and at the same time change the perspectives on key regional and global issues.

On the other hand, during his two -day visit, PM Modi is planned to join a business leaders forum with the best Indian and Japanese industry representatives.

PM Modi’s visit to China

Following this visit, Prime Minister Modi will go to China to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Tianjin between 31 August and 1 September. This will be the first visit to the last seven years and Galwan Valley’s first visit to the real control (LAC) soldiers in June 2020.
