He admitted that there was a great appreciation for the game he dominated for three years, but he added that he would stop playing if his career negatively affects home life. When Australian cricket player Usman Khawaja returned to the Australian team in 2022, he talked about feeling less pressure, and the game was not “everything and extreme”. When the finals begin for thousands of Australians, how do you find the balance between asking for something, but not too bad? Andrew Moir spoke with a sports psychologist and two leading athletes to address the pressure.
