Polish F-16 crashes during airshow rehearsal killing pilot

The General Command of the Armed Forces said that the accident contained a plane from the 31st tactical air base near Poznan and that the audience was not injured.

“Rescue operations were immediately launched in the event.” He said.

Local media said that the aircraft fell on the runway around 1730 GMT and was damaged and the Radom air show planned for the weekend was canceled.
