Venkaiah Naidu Urges Creative Efforts To Promote Telugu Among Future Generations

TIRUPATI: Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu called Telugu language enthusiasts and academics to explore the innovative ways of bringing the sweetness of the mother tongue to the future generations.
Naidu, Nellore Telugu Language Day at the opening of the Telugu Language Festival on the occasion of the Telugu Language Festival and on the anniversary of the birth anniversary of Gelugu Venkata Ramamurthy, Telugu is not enough to be called an old, rich and beautiful language, but every Telugu-cheing should contribute to the transition to the next generations.
Referring to Ramamurthy’s pioneering efforts, who advocated the use of oral language, Naidu said that the same spirit should guide the protection and promotion of Telugu today. He emphasized that oral language should expand with the old literature making it accessible to everyone.
The former Vice President called on people not to lament about the fall of the mother tongue, instead of trying to spread it. He called for creative methods to teach Telugu to students, including playful and interesting approaches. He said that parents and language lovers should lead children to introduce both official and practical Telugu.
Emphasizing the need to use technology, he encouraged Telugu to be more implemented on computers to attract young people and proposed efforts to revive the traditional Telugu scenario. Telugu proposed to encourage children to give their books as a gift on occasions such as weddings and festivals and to celebrate their birthdays and functions in traditional ways.
Naidu said that Ramamurthy’s language should develop over time, such as people, and said that Telugu should adapt to science and technology while maintaining his identity. He told Ramamurthy to protect and raise the telugu language.
Expressing his concerns that the discussions on the protection of Telugu have become necessary in his homeland, Naidu said that primary education should be in the native language and that higher education should even use regional languages more. He emphasized that people’s views should reach the government in their mother tongue and that the government’s communication with the public should be in the same language. Judicial trials and judgments argued that they should move towards being in Telugu.
Padma Shri Awardee Acharya Kolakaluri Enoch, Prasar Bharati Revuru Anantha Padmanabha Rao, Seva President Kancherla Subbanaydudu with several academics, students and language enthusiasts participated in the program.
The program was organized by Seva – Telugu language, literature and cultural organization.
