Three dead in Indonesia protests as govt building burns

Since the protesters formed the first major test to the President of the President Prabowo Subio, three people were killed after the protesters opened fire on a regional parliament building and five people were injured in Indonesia.

Disaster Management Agency of the Southeast Asian Nation, said in a statement on Friday evening, the causes of deaths in the fire in Makassar, the capital of the Southern Sulawesi province in the local time.

Prabowo, who took office in October 2024, visited the driver’s house late on Friday, expressed his condolences to his family and promised to supervise the investigation into his death.
