Karnataka: Music and Performing Arts varsity awards medals, certificates to toppers

Dr. Karnataka Province Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University organized a ‘Mini Meeting’ here to recognize the performances of the young, senior and vidwat exams he carried out on Saturday.
This was to encourage students to continue their interest in stage arts and to continue to feed them. At the special event, Varsity distributed a certificate to 89 Toppers, which shared 117 medals.
Vice President of Versity Nagesh Bettakote, in the past, the exams were carried out by the Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board, he said. However, since last year, responsibility has been given with Varsity.
A total of 12,089 students appeared in the state and other parts of the country in carnival, Hindustani, Bharat Natyam, Kuchipudi and Kathak Art Forms and various other music instruments. ” 89 Toppers’ for their extraordinary performances and we have presented a certificate and medal to encourage them to maintain their interest in the field of stage arts. Today’s event was like a mini meeting, ” Mr. Bettakote said.
He said that students passing through the first grade and who want to follow the undergraduate courses at the university will be accepted directly without the need for an entrance exam.
Bettakote said that these students, who have undergone three years of intensive education under their guru, were prepared for higher work in the field of music and performing arts.
Famous violinist Mysuru Manjunath and others were present at the event.
