British man dies in Benidorm after evening swim

Police said that a British tourist died after going to swim one evening in Benidorm in Spain.

At least three British citizens reportedly entered the water in Levante Beach around 20:00 on Friday.

The two turned ashore, but the alarm was raised after they could not appear again from the sea. Coast Guard could not find him. The local police said that a 31 -year -old child was later lifeless on the coastline.

“We support the family of a British man who died in Spain.”

Images loaded on social media, when the police came to the scene shows a crowd coming together on the beach.

According to the Mayor of Benidorm, Benidorm is a popular tourism center for the British with more than 830,000 visits last year.
