Child rescued after walking along Hersheypark Monorail tracks
Hershey, Pa. (WHTM) – A child is safe thanks to the help of some good samaritans after the authorities say a short walk along the Monoray tracks in Hersheypark.
ABC27 News viewers were sent to the child’s photo and video on the tracks and then rescued.
A photo showed the child walking along the tracks on a crowded area.

Hersheypark officials said that Monoraray did not operate at that time.
They reported that a small child was missing after leaving their parents at 17:00.
The child said he had stayed there for 20 minutes before walking on the runway and entered a closed Monoraray station.
The guests saw the child on the tracks. The audience video showed a climb to a structure to reach the tracks and save the child.

Hersheypark officials said that the child was not damaged with his family around 17:30 and came together again

Park said in a statement, “We are grateful for the alertness of our guests and the rapid reaction of our team and we are determined to maintain the highest guest safety throughout Hersheypark,” he said.
