March for Australia Melbourne CBD begins; police prepare for violence
The duel protests and fears in the immigrant communities re -declared the debate on Victoria’s protest laws.

“We don’t want to send the message to anyone at any time when Victoria is a racist place,” he said.
“We are a proud multicultural community and we will always be. The best way to correct this is to bring a registration system and give the police the powers to move, so those who want to protest important box issues peacefully and those who want to go there and be racist can take action.”
