Michael Schmidt and Rydell Murray – Measure for Brave Behavior
The first thing Michael Schmidt remembers it was at around 9.30 at the Acacia Ridge house in Southside Brisbane in 2020.
Neighbor Rydell Murray warned him against a fire in front of the street in his other neighbors Josie and Ricky Reid’s house.
Schmidt, “We fled and went in directly, we found Josie against the wall at the end of the corridor, Sch Schmidt remembered.
He voluntarily served in Adrenalin and Bushfire Brigade in the 1980s for years.
He instructed his neighbor to wait in the hall room, running down the corridor next to the fire, caught Mrs. Reid, and brought him back to Mr. Murray to get out.
“I came back for Ricky. The flames took me away from him, so I came to the other side of the hose and held the window to explode the window.”
While still acting, he now asked another 62 -year -old neighbor to bring fire extinguishers, fought and took the responsibility of the flames in the hope of saving Mr. Reid.

“Firefighters appeared and had very few fever to deal with, but unfortunately I couldn’t get out of Ricky.”
The neighbors have been close for more than 12 years, but the last memory of Mr. Schmidt’s friend is burning.
“Our small community here, we look at each other.”
The reason for helping Mr. Murray was simple
“I’m just trying to help another person, about it,” he said.
The couple has clearly remembered the moment with sadness for more than five years, but they are honored to praise brave behaviors and says that everything is worth it. ”
Im I am happy to help me. I was praising a commission member from the fire department.
“Now this came, it really flies me. I never expected it.”

Orum I don’t know what’s going on in.
