Heavy Inflows Push Srisailam Reservoir Close to Full Level

Kurnool: The flood flow from Jurala and Sunkesula projects continued to increase the Srisailam reservoir on Sunday. As a result, eight gates of the project were opened to release the water below the flow. At 18.30, the entrance to the Srisailam reservoir was recorded in 3,00,976 Cusec, while the exit remained in Cusec 3.11.163.
Currently, the reservoir 202.51 TMC FT water, approximately 94 percent of the full reservoir level is 215 TMC FT. Meanwhile, the Sundaysula reservoir is entering 66,000 Cuscs and publishes 64,427 Cusec.
Srisailam also releases water for electricity generation with 35,315 Cusec to Teangana through 29,925 Cusec and power units directed to Andhra Pradesh.
