Jarange Vows To Intensify Quota Protest

Mumbai: Maratha quota activist Manoj Jararange issued a harsh warning that the members of the community from all over Maharashtra will participate in the protest next weekend. He also announced that it will intensify its ongoing agitation by refusing to consume water that started on Monday.

Jararange, who protested in Azad Maidan in Southern Mumbai, demands that all marathhars be given Kunbi caste certificates to make OBC reservation. The agitation will enter its fourth day on Monday and the locking does not show signs of solutions. Jararange made it clear that Prime Minister Devendra Fadnavis did not want to give additional time to the Mahayuti government to address the issue.
