Plane carrying EU leader hit with suspected Russian GPS interference

On Monday, the European Union (EU) said that a plane that carried Russia’s European Commission President Ursula von Der Leyi on Sunday was suspected of compressing the GPS system.
“We can verify that there was a GPS jam, but the plane safely landed in Bulgaria. We received information from the Bulgarian authorities that it was caused by Russia’s open intervention.” He said.
“Of course, we are aware and used, of course, a regular component of Russia’s hostile behavior, and we are used, and of course it will only strengthen our unshakable commitment to increasing defense capabilities and supporting Ukraine.”
