Ex-Somerton and Frome MP David Warburton dies suddenly in London

An old MP, who quit politics after sexual abuse claims, suddenly died at the age of 59.

David Warburton, who represented the Somerton and Frome election zone in Somperset until June 2023, died on August 26th in London.

Metropolitan police said that a man in his 50s was found dead by medical officials at an address of London in Western Chelsea.

The officers acts like the man’s death like “unexpected but not suspicious.”

In April 2022, Mr. Warburton was suspended by the conservative party when he denyed sexual abuse against him.

The allegations were later withdrawn and the investigation was closed by the House of Commons Independent Specialist Panel.

Mr. Warburton resigned in June 2023 as a deputy after accepting that he had received cocaine.
