Maratha quota row: Bombay HC sets deadline for Manoj Jarange, orders him to ‘vacate Azad Maidan or face action’

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court of Bombay directed the activist Manoj Jararange and its supporters, who organized an agitation requesting a reservation for the Maratha community, to evacuate Azad Maidan until 15:00 or to evacuate facial action.

In the early hours of Monday, the Supreme Court said that the protest was not peaceful and that Jararange and its supporters violated all the conditions given by the authorities when the permission to keep the protest in Azad Maidan.
