‘Trump violated law…’: Court rules Nat’l Guard move in California ‘illegal’ | Immigration Crackdown – The Economic Times Video
A federal judge decided that he was illegal when US President Donald Trump deployed the national guards in California during his immigration pressure. Judge Charles Breyer said Trump violated the 150 -year -old Posse Comitatus Law, which restricts the role of the army in the internal law enforcement officers. Governor Gavin Newsom strongly opposed the movement and called it ‘abuse of power’ and ‘violation of state rights’.
