Supreme Court Collegium proposes appointment of 26 new judges to Allahabad High Court

The Supreme Court College proposed 26 judicial officers and advocates for filling empty positions at the Supreme Court of Allahabad.
In two separate proposals, College proposed 14 judicial officers and 12 advocates of his second party Garima Parshad and Swarupama Chaturvedi, including two senior female lawyers from the Supreme Court Bar. The Supreme Court College convened on 1 September. The statements were published on the court website on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
Together with the two offers, in recent months, a single higher court is one of the biggest suggestions for new appointments.

According to the Ministry of Justice (DEJ) statistics, the Supreme Court of Allahabad overcomes the number of empty positions in 76 among the high courts in the country. 160 judges have sanction heritage. Currently, the Supreme Court is working with the power of work of 84 judges, which are slightly more than half of the number of sanctions.
The doj figures on September 1 show that Bombays, Calcutta and Punjab and Haryana high courts also have important empty positions. Bombay has the sanction power of 94 judges with 68 and 26 empty positions of the working power. The Calcutta has the total sanction power of 72 judges with 48 dominances currently working and with empty positions 24. Punjab and Harena High Court has a total sanction power of 84 judges with 25 gaps and a total of 84 judges.
Before the September 1 proposals, there was an August 27 university proposal in the nine state Supreme Supreme Court to transfer/return judges. Collegium, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Kerala, Madras, Rajasthan, Allahabad, Gujarat and Nine High Courts of Calcutta proposed to be confused.

Collegium, Judicial Officers Ajay Kumar- II, Chawan Prakash, Divesh Chandra Samant, Prashant Mishra-i, Tarun Saxena, Rajeev Bharti, Padam Narain Mishra, Lakshmi Kant Shukla, Jai Prakash Tiwari, Devendra Singh-I. Achal Sachdev and Babita Rani were appointed as judges of the Supreme Court of Allahabad.
In addition to Ms. Parshad and Mrs. Chaturvedi, the advocates of the college Vivek Saran, Adnan Ahmad, Vivek Kumar Singh, Sudhanshu Chauhan, Abdhesh Kumar Chaudhary, Jai Krishna Upadhyay, Siddharth Nandan, Kual Ravi Singh, Kual Ravi Singh and Judge.
