Heavy Rain: Orange alert issued for next four days in THIS state

Rain Warning: Madhya Pradesh is once again experiencing the tones of the monsoon. In various parts of the state, the Department of Meteorology (IMD) in Indian Meteorology today, on September 3, 2025, warned heavily to heavy rainfall. In some regions, chaos caused by rain can cause destruction and the clouds are preparing to make thunder. According to the Meteorology Department, Dewas, Sehore, Harda, Khandwa, Narmmadapuram, Betul, Chhindwara and Pandhurna have been published for an orange warning for extremely heavy rain. Some places are expected to take rain up to 8 inches, and some areas may experience storms with heavy rainfall.

- Vidisha
- Raisen
- Narsinghpur
- Seoni
- Mandla
- Dhar
- Barwani
- Khargone
- Pastry
- Agar-malwa
- Ujjain
- Ratlam
- Jhabua
- Alirajpur
- Balaguhat
In some regions, strong winds, lightning and heavy rainfall are possible. Those living in low areas are warned by local government.
According to the Meteorology Department, cyclonic circulation and low pressure system in the Gulf of Bengal intensifies Madhya Pradesh monsoon. In many parts of the state, heavy rainfalls are possible between 4-7 September. Especially in Vindhya and Malwa-Nimar regions, heavy rainfall is expected. Rainfall has exceeded the average of the state this year due to monsoon, and this trend is expected to continue.
IMD published a violent rain declaration for Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu & Kashmir. Some of these states are red warnings due to the ongoing rain, landslides and floods. Meanwhile, warnings were published for Delhi-NCr. According to IMD’s advice, some parts of Delhi, Guru, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad are expected to experience light rain shower.
For the security of the people, some states and places declared that schools will be closed due to heavy rain warnings. On Wednesday, schools in Noida, Ghaziabad, Chandigarh, Shimla and Jammu & Kashmir were advised to remain closed.
