In a statement made by the National Seismology Center (NCS), a 4.8 -magnitude earthquake shot Afghanistan on Thursday.

Shallow earthquakes are usually more dangerous than deep earthquakes.

Meanwhile, the World Food Program (WFP), Khaama Press reported that Afghanistan sent emergency aid to Earthquake -covered Kunar and Nangarhar states and more than 3,000 people were injured.


First aid shipments include food supplies and high -energy biscuits and additional flights planned to offer more assistance and personnel.


In his report, Khaama Press referred to WFP, said that most of the communities hit by the earthquake have already fought after the last flashes and that the worsening weather is now threatening to deepen human crises.
