Carer stole £10k from dementia patient and blew it on KFC, Netflix and sunbeds while the victim told her family ‘something bad’ had happened but she could not remember what
KFC is a caregiver who stole more than £ 10,000 than a bedridden retirement, who had to look at Netflix and Sunbeds after blowing the money.
Danielle Houghton, 32 -year -old Lancashire, was sentenced to two years and nine months in prison last Friday after accepting the theft and fraud with the wrong representation at the Preston Crown Court.

CCTV images from stores and street cameras show that a Houghton collects snacks, buying products in Sportsdirect and going out of the shops while continuing without spending.
Preston Crown Court did not stop until Houghton’s children noticed multiple procedures, and the police were asked to investigate.

Both the victim and her husband died without seeing Houghton brought justice.
However, a victim’s effect statement, his sons Houghton’s sacrifice ‘how could not solve a distress of a boredom’ explained.
He said: ‘”Something bad was done to me, but I can’t remember what happened …
“ He carried this deserted anxiety to his grave, could not enjoy the peace of his house and garden in the last months, he could not solve a boredom.
‘Danielle Houghton’s criminal actions upset the reputation of care providers in a sector that has already faced tremendous difficulties.’

In another CCTV clip, it was seen that Houghton came out of a shop after using a fraudulent use of the stolen card to make a purchase.

DC Peter Bennett of the Lancaster Criminal Investigation Department described Houghton’s actions as ‘selfish’ and ‘desperate’.
