After Slapping 50% Tariff On India, Trump Asks Europe To Cut Russian Oil | World News

US President Donald Trump called on Thursday to stop European countries to stop Russian oil imports, arguing that revenues fueled Moscow’s war in Ukraine.

In case of a peace agreement with Russia, Ukraine made statements during a call with the leaders of the ‘willing coalition’, a debate led by the French President Emmanuel Macron, who was reported to focus on providing security guarantees.

Trump also forced European governments to increase economic pressure on China, accusing Beijing of supporting Russia’s war efforts.

His comments came as a 50% tariff on Indian goods, announced earlier this year, officially entered into force on 27 August. Trump initially fulfilled 25% task, referred to unjust trade practices, and then doubled the new Delhi for the acquisition of Russian oil.

US National Security Advisor criticized John Bolton Trump

Meanwhile, former US National Security Advisor John Bolton criticized Trump for imposing an unprecedented 25% tariff for Indian imports to acquire Russian oil.

Bolton claimed that Donald Trump’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi had once lost his close personal relationship.

“Trump had a very good relationship with modi. I think this is gone now. For example, Keir Starmer is a lesson for everyone that a good personal relationship can help from time to time, but cannot protect you from the worst.” He said.

Trump hurts US-India ties

Previously, Bolton accused Trump of damaging the US-India ties, and the high tariffs on Indian goods brought Prime Minister Modi closer to Russia and China.

In an article in X, Bolton said, “The White House has left the US-Indian relations behind for decades and brought Modi closer to Russia and China. Beijing used himself as an alternative to the United States and Donald Trump.”

Former US official John Bolton was Donald Trump’s national security advisor from 2018 to 2019 as Trump’s president. With Trump, he resigned after the differences on the foreign policy of the administration.
