Geelong is preparing for the elimination finals against the lions tonight, Gary Ablett Jnr, one of the retired elders, has a ring support that thinks that cats are in the best position to win their 11th Premierships.

Ablett said he had perfectly time for his former club’s run.
“They are playing a really great footy right now, I think there are probably four or five teams that can win, and about peak for all teams at the right time,” he said.
“So the club fitness staff and everyone who participated in the condition have a great job to make sure you have won enough games to play the final football, but also sure that you peak at the right time.
“I think they finished the season well and a good chance to continue and win Premiership.”
Geelong’s loss to Richmond in the 2020 Grand Final, Gold Coast’s Gold Coast 110 matches of Ablett’s decorated career was 357th and last match.
Patrick Dangerfield, one of the teammates of that big final tonight, will be moved to 17th in the V/AFL games list played.
The speed of the ball movement of the cats in 2025, especially when the Smith or Max Holmes bolted from the lines, but Ablett, the game speed forced all players to remove, he said.
“The game is faster than ever,” Ablett said.
“Cats are moving the ball very well, but I think the speed of the game becomes faster every year and the days you go to good Footy IQ or just the days of being a great athlete – now I think you need to be both.
“When the ball moves quickly and there are high -score games, it is exciting for the fans, so AFL will undoubtedly continue to work for it.”
