Until this week, Angela Rayner was considered one of the most powerful women of England, a wide range of deputy prime minister to become a future candidate for the best business in politics.

Rayner, a “appropriate working class” woman who defined himself, grew up in poverty and left school at the age of 16 without any quality.

Following the last year’s landslide victory, he became the first female deputy for the Great Manchester seat of Ashton-Under-Lyne in 2015 before entering the High Office.

It was a remarkable journey.

However, Rayner’s extraordinary rise to the summit of the Labor Party and British politics resulted in an equally magnificent decline.

The 45 -year -old child resigned as Deputy Prime Minister and Housing Secretary after admitting that he did not pay enough taxes to buy a new house.

He also resigned as the leader of the Labor Party.

This means a return to Backbenches for a high -profile deputy who is considered a great political being for his party and remains a popular figure and beyond many labor circles.

Against the story of voters to connect with parts of less accessible parts for others, he gave a special status in the cabinet of Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer against his personality and honorable story and stressed why it would be so difficult to change.

Challenging

Born in 1980 at Greater Manchester Stockport, Angela Bowen grew up in one of the poorest council properties of the Rayner region, looking at her mother, who had bipolar disorder and suffered from depression from an early age.

Both Rayner’s parents were unemployed in 2017 and spoke, remembering that they had to grow very quickly.

“My mother was really a vulnerable person. 10 years old, I remember that my mother had suicide and that I was sleeping like a dog at the end of her bed, she just didn’t hurt yourself to stay with her.” He said.

He also remembered that he went to his grandmother’s apartment on Sundays, so that the family can take a bath there in turn. Hot water was very expensive for them to use it at home.

Rayner was told that he would never get anything after he often left school.

However, after taking his first child at the age of 16, Rayner studied part -time at the university, learned the British sign language and gained a professional competence in social care.

He spent several years as a care worker at Stockport, mainly as he looked at the elderly people in their own homes, rapidly rose in the ranks of the union.

He described himself as “like a mouth”, one of the “one who will not get confusion from the administration.”

In his 20s, he became a full-time union official, and after finally he fought with working conditions and zero-hour contracts, he rose to the highest-level chosen role in Unison in North-West England.

He met Mark Rayner, a union official who married Unison in 2010 and divorced in 2023. The couple had two sons, one of them born so early and had special education needs.

37 years old, the mother of three “Grangela” nicknamed the nickname was a grandmother.

He gives loans to a woman who encourages the union movement to enter politics and by taking it – in its own words by taking the “girl on the property of a council” “a woman who feels that she can conquer the world”.

These ambitions began to be held in 2015, when he was elected as Ashton-Under-Lyne deputy, a seat that is not far from his country. Later, he said only “people like me can’t be chosen” and “accidentally” he stopped to indicate that he won the chair.

Role of Prescott

Rayner rose rapidly in Westminster, and received training briefings in the shadow cabinet of former workers’ leader Jeremy Corbyn.

When Corbyn stopped in 2020, Rayner did not run for Labour’s worst general election result since 1935 and supported the second ally Rebecca Long-Bailey, who came to Sir Keir.

Instead, the Rayner stopped for the assistant leadership and made a comfortable choice for this task – Sir Keir will be a central figure in the proposal of re -making the party.

However, the relations between Sir Keir and Rayner were sometimes nervous. After the Labor Party lost control of eight British councils and lost Hartlepool in May 2021, Hartlepool was abolished from his position as the Chairman of the Party.

He pushed it back and was appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Shadow First.

At this point, Rayner had a strong support base and a strong role in John Prescott, who was seen as a political bridge between the working class and the new workers’ project during Tony Blair’s premiere.

Rayner leaned over intensively to this role and in 2024 he tried to use the advantage of his party in the years before Labour’s general election win.

In May 2021, the leader was removed from his post as a party chairman

Occasionally and warrior from time to time, Rayner accused the conservatives of being “out of contact” and again, and during the scandal on the Pandemic Parties in Downing Street, “a rule for them and another rule for us”.

Sometimes Rayner admitted that he had gone too far, that he once apologized for defining senior conservatives as “a lot of filth”.

The poison of his importance and political attacks put a target on his back and pulled unwanted headlines.

In 2021, Rayner reported that a newspaper had crossed his legs during his questions to disturb Boris Johnson and crossed his cross and crossed the “sexism and women’s income” in politics.

And in 2024, on the tax paid for the sale of the council house, the police were investigated by the police after a series of reports of hostile newspapers applauded by the conservatives. He was not found to commit a criminal offense.

The tendency to brush with political debates gave him the atmosphere of immunity, and some dubbed his “Teflon Ang”.

His stock was further ascended as Deputy Prime Minister and led Labour’s promises to build 1.5 million houses by 2030, and helped Sir Keir to make a rebellion by workers’ deputies on prosperity cuts.

However, the political optics, who admitted that a housing secretary did not pay enough taxes at home, were not easy.

Rayner faced the charges of hypocrisy and asked him to stop.

Prime Minister’s Ethics Advisor Sir Laurie Magnus resigned from the government after announced that it violated the Ministry Law.

Rayner said that he was “acting with integrity”, to the Prime Minister ” [ministerial] code. “

In his resignation letter, Rayner said he deeply regretted the decision not to receive additional expert tax advice when buying an apartment in East Sussex, Hove.

In the handwriting reaction, the Prime Minister said that there was “great respect” for his successes in politics, and he described him as “living concretization of social mobility”.

Losing the Key Figure Brew a big hole of Sir Keir Plan to restart the government after the first 14 months in the office.

It also points to the collapse of one of the brightest stars of Labour.

He came to the end of Angela Rayner, who has overcome a difficult breeding and personal distress to climb the peaks of the Labor Party and to be the political career of Angela Rayner, only the second deputy prime minister.
