Copperhead snake bites child at daycare, 911 not contacted

A 4 -year -old boy from Alexander County, a snake in the hospital after biting him next to his ring finger in day care.

Along the Old Mountain Road near Stony Point, he was at the New Beginnings Children’s Enrichment Center.

The family says that daily care never calls 911 about the incident.

Channel 9 reached the emergency services in Alexander County and confirmed that they never received a daily call.

Family members say the child’s protector is the person who took him to the hospital.

Daily care, while playing next to a 4 -year -old sand pool, he says. A worker killed the copper head after the attack.

When they were asked whether daily care warned other parents about the incident, they refused to comment.

The child’s aunt, Brook Cooper, told Channel 9 to Dave Faerty that daily care first claimed that it was just a minced meat or perhaps a broken hand.

Guardian said that when it comes to daily care, the information has changed.

Alexander County 911 says emergency services respond to snake bites every year in the district. The first intervention teams say that they did not carry antivanoma, but they help patients before being treated in a local hospital.
