Man on round-the-world trip gets multiple offers to replace stolen motorbike

A motorcyclist from India, a motorcyclist stolen 15,000 miles (24,140km) in England, entered a worldwide challenge.

Yogesh Alekari said that his motorcycle was stolen on Wollaton Park in Nottingham last Thursday.

Before theft, the 33 -year -old person traveled to more than 17 countries on the KTM 390 adventure motorcycle carrying most of his belongings at £ 15,000.

Mr. Alekari said that he had received offers including clothing and spare motorcycles since then and praised the assistance given by people in the UK, India and cyclist community.

“I’m really grateful,” he said.

“Them [well-wishers] He changed my perspective. I get great support from the country, India, England, all cyclists.

He continued: “British cyclists, British citizens, ‘We are with you – we will support you’ he has many messages.”

Mr. Alekari’s journey was on a bike like Iran, Nepal, China, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan – before passing through Europe, he visited many countries such as Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and France.

The full -time content creator goes to Oxford when he parked on Wollaton Park on 28 August.

After having breakfast, Mr. Alekari found the bike and all his belongings went.

Video images captured by a visitor in the park showed that the motorcycle was besieged by two moped scooters.

Since the scope of the story, Mr. Alekari said that he was under water with support messages.

“People have humanity,” he said.

“Many people offered me horseback riding. They even offered their own motorcycles.”

Good wishes include actor Ewan McGregor and TV presenter Charley Boorman.

Responding to a post on Instagram from Mr. Alekari, Uzun Yol TV account offered to donate a motorcycle account.

“We have a KTM that we use to film the last series. We want to lend to you to use it if it helps.”

Mr. Alekari said he would wait to see that his bike could not be saved by the police before accepting the offer of a new vehicle.

“This motorcycle is very emotional,” he said. “Give me my motorcycle back. I just want a peaceful life and I’m very painful.”

Nottinghamshire police spokesman, civil servants still “comprehensive questions”, but not arrested and said there was no bike.
