Theaterisation Will Happen, Only Timeline Unclear: Army Chief

New Delhi: Army Chief General Uprendra Dwivedi claimed that the theater – or the integration of the army, air force and navy capabilities on Friday would definitely take place and how long the problem will last.

If someone has to deal with more than one agency, “theater is the answer.”

Dwivededi made a book in the Manekshaw Center ‘Sindoor Operation: Unplanned Story of India’s Deep Strikes in Pakistan’ and then interacted with the media.

After the recently planned movement, he asked his attitude towards the theater after different views emerged.

“Theater, theater, today or tomorrow will come. We have to see how long it will last. Together, we must go through certain steps to bring the theater containing integration. Many things need to be discussed.” He said.

He also explained why theater was “necessary”.

“When we fight a war, an army does not fight alone. We have border security forces and Indo-Tibetan border police. Then there are three services, defense cyber agencies, defense space agencies, and now we talk about cognitive war agencies. Also, there are agencies such as Isro, Civil Defense, Civil Aviation, Railway, NCC …

“If he has to deal with so many agencies, the theater is the answer. Because the command union is more important. You need a commander to obtain coordination in the execution. Theater is absolutely necessary.”

The words of the army chief come about two weeks after the other two forces express their views on theater.

At the two -day -day servant seminar held at the Ordu War College in the Mhow last month, ‘Ran Samwad’, Indian Air Force Chief Marshal Ap Singh and Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Kr Tripathi mentioned the theater and made it clear that two forces had different views on the plan.

The Chief of Air Personnel said that the armed forces should not be under any pressure to reveal the theater commands.

In the Conclusion Session, the defense chief General Anil Chauhan said that the “incompatibility” for the establishment of three service commanders in the army would be handled with the best interest in the country.

During the interaction with Mediapersons, the Army chief asked his views on the reduction of the tax rate of goods and services in various military equipment and systems on Friday.

“Our defense corridors will receive a big fleet, because there will be more investment. MSMEs and beginners face difficulties because they have less funds.

Dwivededi said that power is largely three things – research and development, education and modernization – and that GST reduction would benefit all three segments.

GST rates on heavy equipment have been reduced from 18 percent to 5 percent, which will make us easier in our modernization and upgrade work “.

He said it would give a great push at the ratio of unarmed aircraft vehicles (UAV). “In future wars, drones, UAVs and counter -UAVs will have a major role. So it is a good news for us by keeping it in mind,” he said.

Following the Sindoor operation, the control line (Loc) was also asked about the situation. “We have to see the effect from a long -term perspective.” He said.

“Is the state-backed terrorism stop today?
