Olivia Smith profile: Women’s football’s first £1m player
In 2022, Smith North was playing at Toronto Nitros. League1 tears Ontario.
When the semi -professional league ended, he had scored 18 goals in 11 games and the last time he would play club football in his own country.
He moved to the University of Penn State in Pennsylvania, south of the summer border. Again, his time is temporary.
Although he came to Penn State with a serious cross -bond injury, he continued in the World Cup under the age of 20 and in a weak form, and the calls from Europe came to the end of the first year.

And so, one year after that season in Canada, he left the university and moved to Portugal to join Sporting despite the heavy interest in France and England.
The Batlle Y font was effective in persuading Smith to switch to the relatively uncertain Portuguese League and gathered the awards.

It didn’t take long to leave an impression in Portugal.
“He was 18 years old and was playing against experienced players and he would be a little stupid.
“When he plays, he looked at each other and said, ‘How did we deceive this girl to be here? How lucky are we?’
At the end of another fertile season, it was packing his bags, and Batlle Y font was taking investigation from multiple clubs in Europe.

The first season in WSL scored seven goals in 20 matches for Liverpool and was named PFA young player of the year. When he came to Arsenal this summer, he was the third club in three years.
