West Australian Robotics Regional Playoff: Lynwood high school rolls to victory with two wins

Students from a local high school left a big first impression in a robot competition throughout the state.
Lynwood High School’s Senior Robot team demanded two victories in the Western Australian Robotics Regional Playoff at the University of Curtin, an out -of -season branch of the first international robotic competition.
Lynwood Tech tips established an alliance with Curtin University and Scotch College to win the Grand Final after two days of three robot competitions.
The team was also honored with the community award by accepting their commitment to supporting the growth of robotics within the wider community.
The competition called for students to use their coding and electronic expertise to create robots that combat various courses and difficulties and combine the meticulousness of science and technology with the excitement of sports.
Layla Machlouch, a former school student and current student at the University of Electrical Engineering, provided invaluable mentoring and support to the team during the year and during competition, such as those who coordinated the robotic program.
Canning Mayor Patrick Hall, because he is one of the many extraordinary schools in the region, “2018 WA year is a good reason to be called the high school,” he congratulated the school and students.
