Fox6 News spoke to a man working near the accident scene. He said he was watching a sound like a fast car and then a sudden and high “explosion”.

He said, “I saw a man lying on the floor and they made cp, they couldn’t bring him back.”

In a message to the campus community, Kimo Ah Yun, President of Marquette University, said that two people were killed in the accident. Both of the injured people were students.

Oh Yun said in a statement, “students’ families and friends and campus by these students in our community during the time we touched the faculty, staff and other students are upset.” He said. “I want you to keep families in your prayers. I know that such a loss is difficult to understand and the coming days will be difficult for our community.”

A mass will be held at the Varsity Theater on Saturday, September 6 at 13:00. The Lunda Room and Henke Lounge in AMU will be ready for people to meet until 15:00

University, counseling and pastoral support will be available for students, staff and faculty members, he said.

President of Marquette Kimo Ah Yun made an updated statement:

“Two students were Noah Snyder and Scott Michaud, both of them were student athletes in Marquette Men’s Lakros Team. Both Noah and Scott were strong students elected to the Big East All-Academic team in the first year of Marquette to maintain the average of 3.0 points.”

“Noah was a student at Business College. He was one of the six children and came from New York Getzville.”

“Scott was a biomedical science expert at the College of Health Sciences. He survived by two brothers and Springboro came from Ohio.”

“Please keep Noah and Scott’s parents, siblings and families and Marquette athletics and college communities in your prayers. Noah and Scott’s lives have been taken too early and we share in the heart of their teammates, coaches and personal knowing them.”

MPD, Milwaukee District Prosecutor’s Office examined the accusations, he said.
