Revealed: British woman’s cause of death after body is found one month on from disappearance – when she vanished from sunbed while her husband slept

A British woman who lost a month after she disappeared from the sunbed while her husband was asleep, died of drowning.

On August 1, Michele Bourda, 59, suddenly disappeared from the Beach of the Greek city Kavala, and left all his belongings, including glasses, medicines and even towels while her husband was sleeping.

His body was finally found more than a month after his first disappearance, his 66 -year -old husband, Chris, told Daily Mail on Thursday.

Ms. Bourda’s body was located on a small, private property island called Fidonisi, about 25 miles away from the last shore.

The autopsy took place on Friday and medical experts confirmed that he had almost certainly died of drowning.

Forensic scientist Nikos Kifnidis, Sun: ‘There was no other injury… I concluded that his death was the result of drowning in water.

‘The swimsuit she wore was purchased in the UK, it was at the center of its definition.’

He said: ‘The police did nothing that day. A guest who was there that day said that he had not seen any policemen and that I had never seen any policemen that day, not a single police on the beach.

Mr. Bourda claimed that the police did not use dogs or drones during the first call and used the search boat only in the early hours of the morning or morning.
