Fugitive father killed by NZ police after years on run

It is believed that a fugitive father was shot and killed by the police in New Zealand almost four years after his three children disappeared.
Tom Phillips disappeared to distant shrubs on December 2021 with their children on the Northern Island of the country. The family has been rarely seen since then.
