Heathrow Airport terminal is evacuated and closed after ‘incident’

A terminal at Heathrow Airport was evacuated as an emergency services ‘possible dangerous material events’.
After 17:00 on Monday, ambulance and firefighters run to the scene, while the crowds gathered outside the terminal 4 were seen.
An airport spokesman, “ Firefighters Heathrow Airport responds to a possible dangerous substance, ” he said.
‘Expert teams were deployed to make an assessment of the stage and terminal 4, firefighters were released as a precaution while responding,’ ‘he added.
The London Fire Brigade said: ‘Expert teams were deployed to make an assessment of the stage, and while firefighters responded, a part of the airport was evacuated as a precaution.
‘Tugay was first called about the incident at 17: 01 and Feltham, Heathrow, Wembley and the surrounding fire stations were sent to the crew to the scene.’
Terminal 4 check-in, but all other terminals are still open.
A Heathrow airport spokesman said: ‘Emergency services responded to an incident while the terminal 4 check-in was closed and evacuated.
‘We want passengers not to travel to Terminal 4 and support the people on the site. All other terminals work normally. We will give more information as soon as possible. ‘
National Rail said that trains did not stop at Heathrow Terminal 4 due to ‘Emergency Services related to an incident’.
Most of the flights still seem to continue, and no delay or cancellation was reported at the terminal.
